A Birthday Reflection: 55 Years of Love, Faith, and Family
It’s official – I’ve reached the milestone of 55 years young today! And honestly, I feel great. This 55th birthday has me reflecting on my life journey, and I can truly say life is full and rewarding, both personally and professionally. I’m passionate about my work, and it’s incredibly fulfilling to have received recognition and awards for my efforts. Plus, I have the energy to maintain my regular casual runs and continue donating blood, which is a blessing at this stage of life.
This reminds me of the powerful verse from Deuteronomy 33:25 (AMP): “Your strongholds will be iron and bronze, and as your days are, so will your strength, your rest and security be.” I’m experiencing this truth firsthand and filled with gratitude for this blessed life.
Looking back on 55 years, it’s been an amazing journey filled with moments that bring both tears of joy and heartfelt gratitude. Here are a few snapshots and reflections on what I cherish most:
Family: I’m thankful for my parents. Though I didn’t always realize it then, they instilled in us love for siblings. Thank you, Nanay and Tatay, for also showing us what it means to truly commit to your marriage vows.
Love: Words can’t express my gratitude for my incredible wife. She is truly a gift from God, and I can’t imagine my life without her love and support.
Parenthood: Raising our two wonderful children has been the greatest adventure of my life. Watching them grow and become unique individuals fills me with pride and joy.
Faith: Above all, I thank God for his grace and salvation. His blessings in my life are countless. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve Him and share the good news of the Gospel with others. My faith has been the bedrock of my life.
This is 55 – feeling blessed, grateful, and excited for what the future holds!
