What initiatives should Philippine companies undertake to be globally competitive?
It’s #HeRoConverSession time again. To celebrate the ‘International Women’s Month’ we thought of discussing DEI or diversity, equity and inclusion in our 1st session for 2022.
The D of DEI is diversity. It is the presence of differences within a given setting. The E of DEI, on the other hand, is equity. It is the process of ensuring that processes and programs are impartial, fair, and provide equal possible outcomes for every individual. And finally, the I in DEI is inclusion. It is the practice of ensuring that people feel a sense of belonging in the workplace.
This is consistent with our advocacy on human rights in human resources or rights-based management.
DEI employers outpace their competitors by respecting the unique needs, perspectives, and potential of all their team members. As a result, diverse and inclusive workplaces earn deeper trust and more commitment from their employees.
Join us in our FREE webinar with Ivy Llena, author of ‘The Socially Conscious Leader’ as she discusses with us how we can apply this framework in the Philippine setting.
